Hello Rune and Chuck, Scott and T. Becque - glad you like the stem in ice. I helped move a small tree out of a pot yesterday. We had problems because the earth turned out to be frozen. I don't want to exaggerate how cold it is at present because even within Britain we are warm compared to many places. None the less, it's is cold for this part of England so I am enjoying such rare sights!
What a great image.
ReplyDeleteMorning, Hermes.
ReplyDeleteI'm really pleased with this photo!

You DO have a winter - and you have captured it!
ReplyDeleteGreat macro work Lucy...I think it is your real talent, seeing the smallest thing of interest.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool! (No pun intended) Awesome detail through the ice.
ReplyDeleteIt's totally encased in ice - wow!

I love this shot. Just hope that I do not have to photograph any shots like this here this year.
ReplyDeleteHello Rita.
ReplyDeleteYou may not have clear ice like this but icicles!
(We have now had snow!)
