That's a fine shade of red that is enhanced by the shadow. I like the rustic look of door kick, that seems to be doing a fine job of keeping the rain off the main door.
I love doors. I have been collecting photos of them for years. Even have a few hung in my guest bath. Yours is especially nice to see. Love the brick and the color.
That's a great shot Lucy. I follow a group on Flickr that is all about doors to hell...I know yours is serene and pleasant but the subject of doors is broad and fascinating. Kudos!
