  4. Hermes - great view indeed. It's a wonderfully used and maintained Pavilion. Beautiful rain. I think one has to learn to love rain in Buxton . . . though so heavy when we were there it made it impossible to explore a much of the town as we would have liked.

    Hello Rune - this is the view from a cafe window. They must make most of their money from visitors waiting for the rain to stop.

    Agreed, Toffee Apple. I think one might have to stake out Buxton hoping for a day without rain like paparazzi hoping for a glimpse of an especially shy celebrity.

    Hello Chuck. Rain can be a pain when one is wanting to explore but it is also what makes the western side of the British Isles green. And drought is not fun.
