I was astonished to see the red on these trees. At first, I thought paint had been thrown against the trunk I don't know what they are . . but will try to find out.
Hello Sonderisa de Hiperion - I've never seen wood this colour before. I think the tree is an exceptionally high yew and, outside well maintained churchyards, one does not come across yew trees often.
And those colours and texture - love it.
