Hi Rune. I think this may be because we are mostly used to seeing waves going in a particular direction rather than both ways at once and getting in a muddle.
A really nice photo. It made me recall those magic eye prints that were popular a few years ago and appeared frequently in the daily mail weekend paper!
Lucy, this is a super shot! I love everything about it. How I failed to visualize this when I was in Honduras a couple months ago makes me sad for the missed opportunity.
