Blackthorn is one of my favourite spring flowers. But it's not too brilliant this year - a bit spread out at flowering times and somewhat grey instead of bright white.<br /><br />Hello Desertquilts. I hadn't realised you could make jelly from these. I think young hawthorn leaves are edible.
