    She knows
    she must go
    when she is pushed.

    Brown eyes
    closed to keep out
    thoughts of departure,
    lips pursed,
    trying to hide
    a mishap
    on one side,
    she slides
    slow across
    the sliding deck.

    A few more moments
    and she
    will drown
    her thoughts
    and tears
    in the ocean
    as she struggles
    to keep balance,
    as those bipeds
    clamber on.....
