Hello Joe. There was, indeed, a mysterious atmosphere to this alley. (It probably led to the dustbins or something else very prosaic!)
Hello Toffeeapple. The nice thing about the Gloucester cloisters (where I was when taking this photo) is that they are open to the public to walk around. (And they are lovely.) I lived near Oxford for a while and found it very frustrating as a non-University person because all that mediaeval beauty was just beyond reach. (And it was very traffic horrid too!)
I do like that Lucy - very mysterious. Reminded me of the tv programme I really like - Lewis.
