First in Dorset. Now West Yorkshire - Mostly Halifax . . . Getting to know the place.
That rim was essentially for th photo - nice composition!
I have a similar photo I took for public planting posting purposes ages ago but never used.Congratulations - you're my commenter of the week over at mine today for what you said about Bath's buskers.
Hello Rune and VP.The determination of the council to stop anything growing was breathtaking. I find it delightful when stray plants and bits of grass take hold in spaces around trees. I hope the photo looks elegant. However, the emptiness of pressed down sand and gravel round a living thing was, in real life, sad.LucyP.S. Commenter of the week! Good gracious! Thanks!
That one lone dead leaf makes the shot. Fantastic in its simplicity. CF
Chuck, imagine if the breeze had come along and whisked the leaf away just as I pressed the shutter. Bang goes the picture! As it is . . .Lucy
