TRUNK AND CROSSING
Speed bump.
This is the shadow of the tree I'm following for Loose and Leafy. The branches are so high they don't even figure in its long distance shadow.
The October post about this tree is 'The Ever Unchangingness of Trees'.

TREE FLARE
This photo is from a post about redwood trees in the New Forest on my other blog, Loose and Leafy. There's a frog too! I hadn't meant to put it here as well but since I have - I'll leave it.

LEAF AND BRANCH
November 26th 2013
Clinging on before winter.
Note. This picture can be adjusted so the bark on the trunk shows better and the veins of the leaf are clearer; I tried it. But it's not 'right' that way. This is a picture taken in early winter. In early winter you can't see details at a distance. This leaf was quite high in the tree. What you see here is what I saw there - when I was in its presence.

TREES REFLECTED IN WATER
November 17th 2012
I don't usually interfere with my photos but I confess to tinting this a little so you can see stones on the bottom of the river as well as leaves caught in branches and reflections of trees round about.
