SKELETON AND HOISTS
This is a wildly frustrating photo because the angle is irritatingly just-out. If I could I'd re-take it but this building site is too far from my home to return to it easily so I'm making do with this photo even if it is a bit annoying. It's an 'if-only' image.

IF ONLY KING HENRY HAD READ THE NOTICE!
This is Sandsfoot Castle. It was built in the time of Henry V111 but began to fall into disrepair as early as the 1640s.
It is now being worked on before it falls down completely.
Old stones. Modern scaffolding. New notice. If only King Henry had been able to see that 'don't do it' notice at the time - just think how different history would have been!
