I love this shot. The textures and scene are great and so well photographed.

That's good. Thanks. Glad title and picture are in harmony.

Thanks Carver. Incidentally, it was fortunate I happened to be here as you commented for it went straight into spam again. I tick the box to say it isn't. Really strange.

Looks like some posterizing in the background?

Hi John. I don't know what posterizing is! But the sky looks as it does because I increased the highlights more than I would usually do before changing from colour to black and white. I liked the result. (Is that posterizing?)

John - or maybe I reduced them! Can't remember!

Love the texture in your photo. No it´s not a stage scene. Actually its the lightening at the swedish king and queens home, Drottningholms castle :-)

So that's what posterizing is! I noticed the background, and was trying to decide what was done. Then I read the comments...

Anyhow, I like this shot, too. I wonder where the driver is taking all the stuff!

The grass looks like waves and the car was trying to cross it :)

Not sure how you arrived at that background but it is quite effective in this context. The entire image has a strong sense of moving forward.

The bloke could relax at the wheel a smidge more though ...

The background says off into the unknown...
