First in Dorset. Now West Yorkshire - Mostly Halifax . . . Getting to know the place.
It looks like it's levitating! Thanks for your good luck - the template doesn't show comments, but they get to me :)
Love the green on white. Snowing here and your picture sums it all up.
Yet another stunning picture. You have a wonderful eye for colour and composition, and I always enjoy seeing your photo every day!
Very nice Lucy! It looks 3D...
Hello Bim. The leaf does look as if it's levitating, doesn't it? Indeed, there was a slight breeze and, every so often, it lifted the leaf and floated it eight or ten inches along - so I had to chase it a bit to get the picture.Hello Hermes. I was expecting to return this way later in the morning but before long I came across ice so slippery I had to take a different route. However, if I had come back, I would have taken photographs of a cluster of leaves fallen from another tree which were so green and springlike it looked as if they were newly unfurled. Thanks Heather. And it's kind to let me know you are seeing the photos daily. I know, from the Stats, that more people visit than comment. It's good to hear from them from time to time. Thanks Pat. 3D and no spectacles!Lucy
It seems the plants and leaves are not yet ready to let go of their grasp to winter...
Hello Serline. I'm astonished how much is still growing and green.Lucy
