The poor little thing atleast it has the fallen leaves to keep it warm. :)

p.s. the house in my post isn't mine unfortunately.
It was built when Pennsylvania was still under British rule, perhaps the original owners where from Essex.

Hello James - yes, the role leaves can play is clear in this picture - they have formed a kind of tent over the plant.

Hello Chuck. I took this photo specially for you because you were surprised that it is growing green when I first took its picture in November.
