Hello Hermes - this is the old town hall in Weymouth. (Weymouth as opposed to Melcombe Regis . . . which is now the main bit of what we now know as Weymouth). For a while it was a church (Adventist? can't remember) but it is being turned into a community arts centre.Thank you Sy. In the summer I expect carnival contraptions will be built here - not quite as impressive as the ones in your photographs though!Hello Rune - I like the idea of emails going through this letterbox.Hello Rita. The building itself has old roots - with even more history than the door. Hello Faye - weathered but . . . I think it needs attention! Thanks Kathrine.Chastity - I'm fortunate that I pass by this door on my way into town.Lucyhttp://messageinamilkbottle.blogspot.com/
