Hello Adrian. I'm glad you like the little plant by the bright brick wall.
Hello Hermes. These little plants are tough. I expect it will still be there . . . in ten years time!
T.Becque - your comment has set me thinking again about the purposes photographers might have for taking a picture even of the same object, whether to provide information . . . to prompt a thought . . . or . . . or . . . my particular ambition is to show the 'isness' of things. It's made me realise I chose the wrong name for this blog for I'm trying to present things emptied of 'message'.
My previous blog was 'Pictures Just Pictures'
http://picturesjustpictures.blogspot.com/
and I moved here when I thought my allocation for pictures was filled. Having realised my mistake, and having thought about it for a bit, I am now publishing them in parallel (but at opposite ends of the day). The different backgrounds induce a surprisingly (and to me, fascinatingly) different impact and I'm trying to decide to what extent this means my intention behind the pictures will always and inevitably be thwarted!

A grand image once again. Thank you.
Great picture and it survives.
I like your titles, they always make me giggle - they are exactly as they say! :)
