You have a very shiny washing machine!

What an odd an interesting angle. Would never have guessed the item without a clue...and quite frankly, even with the title I have a hard time seeing it. Maybe because my machine never gets that close of an inspection and it's all plastic anyway! Great detail Lucy!

It looks just like mine, but somehow I've never taken the time to look at it as an object of beauty, which it clearly is in your photo.

Great pics, you find excellent shots in surprising places.

Hello T. Becque. Perhaps I should advise everyone to take a photo of their washing machines when they are new and not yet much used! There was water from a wash on the inside of the door - and that showed up from certain angles - but I liked this view best.

Hello Chuck. One of the reasons you can't work it out is because, due to the shininess, there are reflections reflecting against each other - and I can't work it out properly either!

Hello Christine H. It sounds a bit glib to say we miss an awful lot of beauty and interest in the mundane simply for that reason - it is mundane so we don't look. Having a camera makes me 'look' differently - and I am very grateful for it. Indeed, although it is inanimate, I feel grateful to it.

Hello VP. Nothing can stay perfect for ever!

Perth Daily Photo - Hello! I found it hard to hold the camera steady for this photo because of the angles between the door and the body of the machine, the lens, the camera screen and my eye so I have some wobbly shots too. However, once it came 'right' all that light reflecting backwards and forwards made it crisp at last!

Adullamite. Hello and thank you. That I look in surprising places is as much to do with wanting to keep variety within a daily blog as it is to my general philosophy.

Lucy

I thought exactly the same as Christine H. Must be more observant. You show that you don't have to go far to get a great photo.
