Oh dear, I have just found this blog, I've no idea why it took me so long since I've read Loose and Leafy for a while. I'm going to have a full Reader tomorrow! Especially if I start to follow your other blog too...

Hello AGMPRISMA. The sea can be quite overwhelming at times.

Hello Toffee Apple. Glad you've found this blog! The third blog, Pictures Just Pictures is the same as this only with a different format and published at a different time of day. I'm a bit out of synch. at the moment but Message in a Milk Bottle is usually posted around 6:15am and Pictures Just Pictures at 4:00pm. This came about by chance and I am astonished that it 'works' having duplicate blogs - but it does!

“I must go down to the sea again, to the lonely sea and the sky; and all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by.”

Great, great shot.

Hello Sy - the sea never ceases to amaze me and I am never so much reminded of how vast it is as when looking down at it.

Hello Hermes. It's an odd poem - everything in it suggests contentment but to me it feels like loneliness - though I find it hard to work out why.

Thank you Juan. I am fortunate to live where such scenes are simply . . . simply there! All I have to do is to press a button.
