Hello Toffeeapple. These buildings were put up at the same time. (The tallish, rectangular one is a health centre. The curved one a cafe.) They about two years old (I think). Can't imagine why these designs were chosen. I would say they were dated before they were built. The health centre looks like an art deco cinema - very odd!

Hi Brian. We've been fortunate with blue skies the last couple of weeks. Today (5th April) we're back to solid grey and very low light.
The buildings are new and, to my mind, a bad idea. They look ok (ish) while fresh but will (I think) deteriorate pretty rapidly.
