Hello Hermes. I wonder how cheap they are. Fences like these need to be tough to fulfil their purpose. They don't half make an area look desolate but, on a fine day, taken a bit at a time, do you not think they provide interesting shapes?
Hi Easygardener. Yes - very prison-yard-ish. Hope, once the rain has worked its magic on your garden, you will feel the world is a cheerier place.
Hello Toffeeapple. I think something went wrong with Blogger ealier - hence the black and white shapes. The picture is there again now - at least, it is while I write this.

Plenty of these round here, practical and cheap no doubt, but so boring.
The word prison yard springs to mind - but then I am feeling rather gloomy and fed up with the sound of rain (despite the drought!).
That is not what I can see Lucy - black background, white circle filled with grey and a white horizontal oblong in the centre...

I can see it now Lucy, thanks. Interesting shapes but set with that security light it makes a chilling image.
I like the way the top of the post has that jagged edge. Gives a lacy effect down the fence row.
