It was (is - I hope!)a beautiful boat. It wasn't the only one either. While I was there, another was being towed out to sea - the chain (rope) between it and the tug (tug?) broke and they had to re-catch it. I think a third had been washed up on another beach, nearby, too.
Lucy, sorry I have been unable to visit for a while. I have missed having you visit my site as well.
I am going back in the hospital tomorrow and will not be able to blog for a while. I have auto-posted some things to get me past my surgery and post-op.
I was sorry to read about the lost of your photos and all the rain delays with taking new shots. I hope all those problems are resolved now.
I really like this shot. How lucky you were to have come across it. I also adore the dandelion photo at the top of the page. Wonderful capture. You are very talented.

That was quite a storm. I hope that none of the craft were lost for good.
