Fine photo emphasizing sky and sea. Sailing is all about the sky and sea. Seems only a few boats left in the anchorage. Perhaps the season is nearly done?
You asked why "Taken For Granted," Most photos I post seem ordinary to me. These are the things I see around here. Also my last name is Grant, so it's also a play on words. Not all that clever, but it occurred to me when Blogger asked me for a name.
Hello Magic Eye - sea and sky like this is a feast for anyone who likes blue.
Hello Taken for Granted. Thanks for the explanation. I'm glad it isn't because you feel you are 'Taken for Granted' (which is what I first thought when I saw your name).
About the boats. Most are anchored to the left of the view in the picture. Even there, there would not have been as many as there are sometimes. It's not that the season is ended - the opposite - they are out sailing. This is where we stood, only a few weeks ago, to watch the boats go out for the sailing events in the Olympics. (In their case, setting out from the right of the picture).
On the other hand, I have recently been thinking the next year-marking event will be the crane arriving to lift the boats out of the water for the winter.

Hello Toffeapple. I cannot disagree. To be able to see a view like this, to stand there is . . . pretty wonderful! I feel greatly privileged.
this is a beautiful view. I especially like the flat horizon that acts as a perfect dividing line for sea and sky.
Beautifully captured!
Come and see my Sky Shots when you get a chance. Your comment will sure add a delight.
Have a great weekend.
