Hi Rita. I've been photographing this tree for several months - ever since I saw it down there - and I've always liked the lettering as much as the leaves. Just as well because the tree will have to go some time - before its roots break the drain - but the metal will remain.
Hello Deepak - The tree does well until it sticks its head above the level of the road. Then cars shave off the leaves which stick out. They cut against the grating.

Nice shot Lucy...I suspect this little guy is going to cause some problems somewhere doen the line!
