I think this is giving me vertigo looking at it. I am not sure if that boat is growing out of the beach or not. Very intriguing photo Lucy. BTW, I answered your comment on my site...revisit when you have time. :)
Hi Chuck, yes, it is growing out of the beach - well, in a manner of speaking. I am on an upper pathway, above the level of the sand, looking down at the boats which are propped up against the wall I am standing on.
I've taken a look at the Chihuly photos. I've tried quite hard with them - but I think this kind of sculpture probably just isn't quite to my taste.
