Lucy, sorry I have not been getting around much lately. I do appreciate that you have continued to visit and comment on the few post I have been doing.
I have spent a very pleasant bit of time today scrolling through all of your post for the last few months. As always they are wonderful. I so love how your camera captures things the way every part of your body encounters them.
I chose this particular photo to leave my comment on because it was the one that spoke to me the most today. First it takes me back to a wonderful time in my life and a very rare visit to one of my favorite places in this world.
I can feel the rocks and sand and all that wet seaweed on my feet and chill of the ocean air on that last early October morning as I walked alone on the deserted beach.
In fact I took a photo similar to this one that day. Just replace your blue sunglasses with a pair of mens underwear and you would have my photo. A strange thing to see and photograph but, the waistband on the mens briefs had the word "Jocky" repeated around the band. It was as the God's of the sea had sent me a message of welcome that morning.
Lovely photo. So much emotion and so many memories in this shot for me. Just what the doctors ordered on this gloomy Sunday in Missouri

It's surprising what gets washed up.
Oh, that is where my sunglasses went.
I love the perspective (background, middle ground, foreground) as well as the subject on this one...
nice one
