Was Dorset. Now West Yorkshire.
A fascinating photograph Lucy. There's a story here.
An intriguing composition. I agree with Joe - you could hang a story on that feather :-)
Serendipity and photography!
Delicate yet so strong!!
I like it very much when feathers, especially white ones, start to decorate the world.
Amazing you even saw it, let alone got a great photo!
Hello Everyone. Thank you for your comments on the feather. It was a delicate and cheerful thing to come across on a grey day.
Nice! We have a saying that "One feather makes five hens", meaning rumours spread from nothing :-)
Hi, Rune. I like your feather and hens saying. I'll remember it. (I don't think we have anything comparable in English - which surprises me.)
Simply wonderful. Your photos speak much more than a thousand words!
Wow, great capture. I love the depth of field and the perspective and, of course, I love the feather.
