Poppies simply add such a colour contrast to everything don't they?
I love poppies, they remind me of my Mother who used to grow them. I remember when she cut them to place in a vase, she would burn the ends using a lit match. I guess to make them last longer.
I like this one a lot. The contrast between nature and man is wonderful.
