Always called these corn spiders, but don't know their real name. They can be quite large, and they can eat all the mosquitoes and flies they want. Good for them.
Hi Donna. There are masses of these spiders around. I like them. For some reason it's hairy spiders which un-nerve me.
Hello Taken for Granted. That's right. There are no spiders dangerous to humans here. It's the flys whp have to watch out. On the other hand . . . now I think of it . . . I don't think I see many mosquitoes in the webs. I wonder why not.
Great close-up! I'm okay with spiders, but am very glad they aren't much larger. Well, we do have tarantulas around here, but they don't bother anybody.
