Perhaps not nice enough to eat...But they look nice enough for apple sauce..! Will you be moving on to 'pears tomorrow...! :0).
I, too, was wondering if they might be good for applesauce. Lots of apples that aren't particularly good for eating out of hand are wonderful in applesauce, with bad parts cut off and a tiny bit of sugar or honey and cinnamon added.
