Do you see the fleck of lichen that's green where the rock is damp compared with it being yellow where the rock is dry?
A very versatile rock. I like the reflection quality. It reminded me of the wizard movies where they look into a bowl of water. You can almost see something appearing in there! Is it maybe a mouse? =)

Hello Pat. I see what you mean. In this case I think it's more likely that there was a stone of different hardness which has, at some point, dropped out.

Very nice! It reminds me of the "mortars" that American Indians used to grind nuts, seeds, etc.
