Hello Pat. When I lived in Dorset I'd visit Portland Bill - which sticks right out into the English Channel and is almost surrounded by sea. There's a big patch of flat grass there where it is very exposed to the weather and can be very windy. Gulls used to sit in ranks, grouped not just by variety of gull (black backs, herring, black headed etc.) but by age too - and all facing the same direction.

The pigeons seem to be discussing what they see on the ground below them. Perhaps they find people entertaining?
Nice photo! It's funny how birds all face the same direction. I know it's because of the wind, but still.
Hello Taken for Granted. There'a small road below, then a busy main road below that. Lots of traffic to watch.
