Perhaps furniture makers would enjoy having access to this wood. That is a sizable stack.

Hello Taken for Granted. It's a massive place - with huge quantities and kinds of wood. Some planks are so tall one can only wonder at the sizes of the trees they have been taken from. There are masses of fork-lift trucks and lorries . . . It's fascinating.
Scale is often difficult with photos. It can get distorted on photos and I may not be remembering the size of these properly but I think these blocks of wood are heading more towards joists than table legs.

I was thinking building sections, too. I love the contrast between the warm, squared-off wood going horizontally and the sharply pointed metal going vertically. Also, the touch of red and yellow warm colors on the left, and the cooler green contrast on the right. Really nice composition.

Hello Susan. Glad you like the composition. It was a hot and sunny day and I enjoyed sitting on pile of wood watching the lorries and forklifts while I waited for a friend.
