OGDEN WATER AFTER WEEKS WITH NO RAIN

Ogden Water in West Yorkshire after weeks with no rain. Trees, plants and exposed ground which is usually under water.

The reservoir which supplies water to the Halifax area is getting low.

Hope you get rain soon. It has been a wet year here so far, but could change any time.

Oh, my gosh! I hope you get rain soon, and quite a bit of it. That's a beautiful picture, though, and looks lovely in your shot.

Hello Taken for Granted. I'm not sure, but I thin it's about two months since we had any sensible rain. Great when you don't want plants to be eaten by slugs and snails but a bind if you want said plants to grow.

Hello Susan. Yes. Very low. And it is beautiful there, even when the reservoir is down. Indeed, in some places it is as if beaches have appeared beside it and people are walking on what is usually submerged.
