ADOLESCENT MONKEY PUZZLE

Monkey Puzzle Tree with building in background.

For some reason I've not noticed a monkey puzzle of this size  before, only very little ones and very big ones.

When we lived in Portland, OR, USA; we used to see these trees, usually quite tall. We called them monkey tail. I think I like "monkey puzzle" better!

I've never seen one, or heard of it by either name, but how interesting it is!

Hello Boromax. It's odd isn't it. All the tall trees we see must have gone through this stage before getting big - so how come we don't notice them?!

Hello Susan. They are fascinating trees - but also a bit 'dark' and brooding.
