Wonderful texture and lichen on those rocks. The leaf is just a bonus.

Hello Taken for Granted. This is the standard kind of wall in the countryside around here - miles and miles and miles of it. Lichen and all! The effort that must have been put into building these walls must have been tremendous. Then there is the maintaining of them too!

The leaf was a nice catch, ha, ha, but I really love the view beyond the rocks, and the perspective the rocks add.

Here in the Midwest the only crop guaranteed for farmers is rocks. New ones come to the surface every year, and they must be picked off the fields. In some places those rocks are used to build walls.
