The poppy does provide a nice splash of bright. I wonder if the Medic is called that because it has medicinal properties, do you know?
Hello Susan. According to Wikipedia, Black Medick gets its name 'Medick' because it was thought to have originated in 'Media' in Iran and 'black' because it develops a black seed pod.
