That's a flower I never heard of, but it is certainly a beautiful color and looks gorgeous blooming.

Hello Susan. Buddleia is very common here because it grows on wasteland and on railway bridges as well as in people's gardens and in hedgerows. Butterflies love it but its ability to grow anywhere (including on roofs and out of walls) means it often has to be uprooted before it brings a building or a bridge down!
