Was Dorset. Now West Yorkshire.
Photographs always look better when they are framed.
Lovely landscape photo framed by the sculpture.
What a great view. Reminds me of some of our school bus shelters.
Hello Andy. I'm not sure I agree. Sometimes the unrelenting endlessness of a landscape is something special and a frame can sort of domesticate it. I'm glad you like this framed view though.
Hello Taken for Granted. It's become something of a habit / tradition to camp in Northumberland just when summer and autumn do a little dance with each other before deciding who will win. Last year it meant non-stop rain. This time it wasn't so cold but you can see in the view that the light is dimming and the mists are ready to roll in.
Hello Susan. I hope your school bus shelters were more waterproof than this sit-in-able sculpture. It seemed designed specially to conceal the view (except at the end, as in the picture) and to let the rain in. Not sure what it was for and it must have cost a lot of money - but it was an interesting discovery in passing.
