Hello Taken for Granted. This still is a commuter station - though the photo was taken in the middle of the day when most people were already at work. Outside there are many parked cars belonging to people who, I imagine, travel to big cities like Leeds and Manchester every day for their employment . . . perhaps to Halifax and Bradford too.
Hello Mike. Fortunately the people are keeping the place open. On the whole I try not to have people in my pictures but there were trains coming and going and people all the time. It's daft really cos when I look at old photos it's the people I look at most intently.

Buen encuadre, con todas las líneas en fuga
This looks like a scene from an earlier era when commuter rail service was much more important.
Thanks Joaquin. Perhaps that is one of the reasons so many of us like railways -- they are sort of set up to be visually satisfying.

An almost timeless picture apart from the people. xx
