Hello David & amp; Melanie It's certainly a change!
Hermes - I could have done it with a greater variety in tones but liked the lightness of this. My taste in pink and pale seem to have diverged from the usual run of what people enjoy seeing! ! ! !
Hi Lucy, I like this, how nice of Ms. Hedgehog to pose for you instead of diving under the covers!
Thanks for visiting my place; I have been posting shots from late last year, since snow has lost it's charm for me. The salsify and the leaf were both taken last fall, and I'm glad you commented on the spots in "Leaf:" I almost titled it "Spots!"
Hope you have a pleasant and creative weekend, and maybe Ms. Hedgehog will consent to doing a photo shoot!
Hello Dimple. I'm glad I found your blog because I like your photos.
This hedgehog picture is an unusual photo for this blog because I usually take photos of the natural world or the natural world re-organised for domestic use. Plastic is rare here - and I avoid sentimentality. On this occasion though . . . I don't know what came over me . . . but I saw this toy peeping out from bedclothes and, inexplicably, it grabbed me as an image.
Hello Dragonstar. I'm glad you made that particular comment. It explains why, initially, I thought it was a prickly pig! You are right - maybe it's the eyelashes?
Hello Chuck. This hedge-pig is like an arctic fox; turns white with winter. Except it's spring. I know! It's an antarctic one.
T. Becque - glad you like both pictures. Charm without style! (But I am, none the less, charmed!
Hello Y. Ikeda. I enjoy your comment. (And, although the picture which accompanies your name is small - it looks as if you too are charmed by such creatures.)

Such fun! That's a hedgehog with attitude I think - here eyes remind me of Miss Piggy.
Looks just as cool with its winter coat, Lucy!
Very good and I like the pink version too!
This is hilarious and so lovely!
