Hello VP. Sometimes, when you look at a leaf, you find so many hills and valleys in microcosm, and so many insects and eggs of insects - there really is another world there. Especially when you look on the underside as well.
Hello Rune - I'm always fascinated by the patterns on leaves - and there are so many leaves, one never runs out of subject matter!

Glad you like the leaf, Chuck. As for the light - usually, Buddleia leaves look paler and hairier (and less interesting!) than this one - but the afternoon light was picking it out from all the others in the bush. It was un-missable. Thanks, Nature!
