First in Dorset. Now West Yorkshire - Mostly Halifax . . . Getting to know the place.
Made me shiver but what a great view.
I know the feeling ...
But, have you ever tried to capture Buxton in sunshine? That would be a challenge...
Wish we could see a few views like that here...our drought sure could use it. Nice one Lucy.
Hermes - great view indeed. It's a wonderfully used and maintained Pavilion. Beautiful rain. I think one has to learn to love rain in Buxton . . . though so heavy when we were there it made it impossible to explore a much of the town as we would have liked.Hello Rune - this is the view from a cafe window. They must make most of their money from visitors waiting for the rain to stop.Agreed, Toffee Apple. I think one might have to stake out Buxton hoping for a day without rain like paparazzi hoping for a glimpse of an especially shy celebrity.Hello Chuck. Rain can be a pain when one is wanting to explore but it is also what makes the western side of the British Isles green. And drought is not fun.
