And when Buddleia was designated as an invasive plant here in Oregon, I was surprised. My Buddleia was well behaved...as far as I know.

They do have a habit of appearing in odd places. Personally I like the Buddleia mostly because I like bees and butterflies. If I had one in a garden I would prefer one of the scarlet coloured ones, beautiful.

I drive to the supermarket and a wall there is covered in them, all over. They are very tenacious.

Their survival instincts are second to none. How huge plants can survive in virtualy no soil is a mystery to me. I am sure the insect world appreciates their efforts.
