Thanks Adrian. Glad you like the thistle down photo - I'm pleased with it too! Depth of field challenges can throw a picture like this and, I confess, with me that side of things is very much down to hit-and-miss and luck. Hope you aren't being too much rained on.

This is lovely with the little punches of green in the background.
What a beautiful photo! It is interesting how flowers also are wonderful after the bloom, and makes great photos.
I have seen this around here, but can't remember our name for it!
