| Fly on Flower - June 2nd 2013 |
I don't usually post pictures with flowers on Message in a Milk Bottle but I'll be making an exception over the next few months while I take a break from my hedgerow blog, Loose and Leafy. Hope you don't mind. (I'll try not to include anything too sentimental.)

Hi, Chuck - in this case, not from low down. (Though many of my photos are.) These plants are growing about four foot high.
I like flowers. This one reminds me very much of a popular fabric design currently out. I'm amazed to find it grows so high off the ground! Good catch of the fly in there, too.
Hello Desertquilts. Some of these plants are taller than me! And the umbrels 5/6 inches across. I'll have to pay greater attention because I think some are wider still.
