GREY STONE IN GABION

October. Autumn. The light is horrid. Non-stop grey. Everything's bright and blurred and indistinct. What a time to resume posts!

It'll take a while to get my eye in. Breaks have an impact. But . . . here we go!

Grey stone in gabion.

Round stone.

Welcome back! Soft grey, blue, pink - love it.

My first thought was that it was a grey melon - but that one would certainly break your teeth!
My second thought was where's Gabion? Great to discover a new word I didn't know. So a gabion is one of those metal cages full of stones, eh?
Great to have you back. Happy autumn!

Hi Angie. Thanks. Hope things are well with you.

Hello Pat at Squirrelbasket. Such a grey melon . . . no, do not eat! Glad to have introduced you to a new word.

Hello Desertquilts - shadows . . . couldn't do without them! Such pictures can be adjusted so the shadows disappear and more is revealed (in this case, more stones) . . . but everything would become everyday and that would be Boring.

Thanks Toffeeapple - what a kind comment!
