REEDS AND CASTLE

Sandsfoot castle in background, remains of torpedo warning mid-view, reeds in foreground.

If you peer through the mist you can see the remains of one of Henry Vlll's castles (Sandsfoot).
Three posts mid-distance used to hold a notice warning people of torpedo testing.
And the reeds in the foreground edge what used to be a railway line between Weymouth and Portland.

Hello Willie. Thank you for leaving the link to the video. Of all places in the world there can be no-where more beautiful, interesting, dramatic and romantic than Portland.
