I wouldn't mind stopping in for something to eat there. Cannoli, I think! The basil adds such a bright spot of color! It also tells me that it is definitely the sage that returned to my pot this year. LOL
I had a cup of coffee there and the friend I was with had a thing which looked like a dragons's egg. (You can see them on a tray in the window - golden.) It was a shape of rice with bolognaise in the middle and she said it was really tasty.
The basil on the table was a cheerful and refreshing touch. Small things like this make a huge difference to the 'experience' when you go out for a treat.
