Hello Taken for Granted. I don't know any more about this building than what we see in the picture. I happened to be walking by and thought it interesting. I expect it depends on what you call a 'barn'. It's not large. There are similar but even smaller ones in the area. It belongs to the farm. I don't know whether the field side is enclosed so it can be used as a store or a byre or whether's it's an open shelter for cattle or sheep to walk into.
I'm going to imagine it's a sheep shelter, but the amazing thing is the beautiful of the bright color against the old stone. Another beautiful picture. It's a good thing I'm NOT hanging all of your pictures that I like, because I would need a castle! LOL
Hello Walter. Some of these English roads are so narrow there's no right and wrong side, just the middle, and cars have to back out of the way of each other to find passing places where they can cross.
Hello Susan. The foxgloves (the bright flowers) are magnificent, aren't they? Until I moved to this area I hadn't seen them growing wild in such profusion, only singly in hedgerows.

This building looks really antique. Was it a barn?
