I've collected photos of doors for years. These are great.

I always wonder what the story on the other side is all about.

I love red doors!

Morning, Rita and Hazel. These doors are in a dark, narrow street with few pedestrians. I doubt if many people notice them at all, despite how bright they are. Funny how some things only become visible when photographed. Certainly, one can take time to look at a picture whereas one often has to be brave to hang around to examine them in real life.

We're in the midst of a flash freeze here in Toronto, so these red doors did warm my day, just as advertised.

I really like this kind of images. Love your composition and the 'framed" red doors.

Doors are fun! You can do so much with façade of a house - like here.

Great! Such an interesting place to have doors too!

Hello Helen. So pleased you were cheered and warmed by the red doors. Hope you don't get too cold in Toronto. How long does a 'flash freeze' last? Is it that it comes in a flash and stays, or does it go in a flash too?

Hello Luis and Rune. It's odd how attractive and interesting doors can be despite how many of them there are.

Thank you, Maricruzpe. I'm glad you like the blog as well as the bright flash of the doors.

Hello T. Becque. I have one door picture . . . you have . . . how many? Pleased you like this!

Did they run out of paint?

What a great find with these textures and colors. Really nice.

What's behind the red door? Interesting shot. :)

Hello, Hermes. That change in paint colour hints at a history, doesn't it?

Hello Scott. I wonder what the owners of these red doors would think if they knew we are all enjoying them so much.

Hello James. I too wonder what's behind the doors. My guess is that the space is used as a garage. What I'd also like to know is why there is a gap between the buildings. What was there before? How did it come to be demolished while leaving the walls on either side intact - and why? What will happen next?
